At Meraki Dog Training, we believe in assisting owners gain the skills and knowledge to have confident, resilient, happy puppies and dogs. Happy dogs and happy owners, make for happy homes.
We use positive reinforcement, play based training.

Qualifications, training and experience:
- Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training.
(2 year course currently completing).
- Service Dog Coach Certificate.
- Behaviour Bible (3 year course currently completing).
- Puppy Lab.
- Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training.
- Certificate II in Animal Studies.
- Red Cross Pet First Aid Course.
- Foster carer with local rescue group.
- Previous Temperament and Behaviour assessor for local rescue group.
- ACT Government Approved Assistance Dog Assessor and Trainer.
- MindDog approved trainer.
- Rainbow Paws Reading Dawgz Program assessor.
- WWVP card.

I had previously attended a different puppy school and sat in a chair for 5 weeks. Having had a previous dog I did know some basics but decided to attend CTE which was a great decision. We have sought out Canine Training and Enrichments services for both one on one lessons and group classes, both of which have far exceeded our expectations. Classes and lessons have had a strong real-world application focus and has also assisted in exposing my dog to a range of stimuli which, for a covid puppy has been incredibly helpful in building his confidence and comfort around such things.
Ruth is an authentic and kind trainer who has worked with me to support the development needs and goals for my puppy. This is also evidenced by how excited my puppy gets whenever he sees Ruth!
As a first time dog owner, Ruth has also taken the time to educate and equip me with the skills and knowledge to enable me to continue to train and develop my dog at home by myself. Whenever I’ve had any questions around particular behaviours or how to train my dog in something, Ruth has always been able to provide me with advice and guidance on what I can do to achieve the outcome I am looking for.
I have no doubt that her services and guidance have contributed to helping develop Rèmy into a well mannered and confident puppy. I would not hesitate to recommend Canine Training and Enrichments to any dog owner looking for training and lessons!
